Stayed here for 4 nights. It was nice being so close to the town center and the Castle. Easy access to everything!

it has lovely rooms and historic location close to the centre as well as the river and the castle. café moments cafe offers tea and goodies within 5 minutes walk.

The location was mind-blowing, right on the main street, super convenient. The spacious apartment was jaw-dropping, well stocked with everything we needed and more, and felt like a comfortable and welcoming home. The hosts were the best, with quick replies, warmth, and friendliness, even leaving a personal note and goodies for our stay. The recommendations for places to visit were a bonus. The views from the windows were stunning. Free wi-fi, free parking, dryer, electric kettle, and flat-screen TV were all available. No smoking on site.

I recently stayed at the Spacious Georgian Apartment in Barnard Castle for a few nights. The location was perfect, right on the main street, making it easy to explore the town and surrounding area. The apartment itself was surprisingly spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, and the views from the windows up the street were lovely. The hosts were amazing, leaving a personal note and goodies for our stay, and providing quick responses to any questions we had. it felt like a home away from home.

The location was insanely convenient, right on the main street! The lockbox for keys was a game-changer, no restrictions on check-in times. The apartment was mind-blowingly spacious, like a jaw-dropping mansion! It had every possible amenity and more, felt like a super cozy home. The host, Jo and family, were the absolute best! They left a personal note and goodies for us, replied lightning-fast to our questions, and gave awesome recommendations for our stay. It was a free parking paradise and the views from the windows were breathtaking. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the kitchen was super clean and well-equipped. Plus, the property had free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a dryer! Only downside, maybe not suitable for people with mobility issues due to the stairs.

Our apartment had both single beds and a bedroom, with a fully equipped kitchen including an electric kettle, a fridge, and an oven to cook meals.

I stayed with my family and we loved the apartment’s great location near the river, the Castle, and the city center, it has a really historic vibe which we enjoyed.

Parking can be difficult due to the narrow entrance alleyway and limited street parking availability.

I loved staying at this spacious apartment in a great location. The main street was right on my doorstep, making it so convenient for exploring the town. Loved the spacious bedrooms and cozy living area - felt right at home! The fully equipped kitchen made it easy for us to cook meals together as a family. Having a private entrance gave us a sense of privacy and independence. The flat-screen TV added entertainment to our evenings - movie nights were a hit! We appreciated having a tumble dryer - no more damp clothes after rainy adventures.

Personally, I found the microwave a bit outdated, but others might not mind.

On the downside, parking was a bit of a challenge as the apartment is situated on a steep hill and the street parking was often full. I had to park a couple of streets away, but it wasn't a major inconvenience.

The towels were so fluffy, it felt like I was drying myself with marshmallows. I couldn't resist taking a little nap in them.

Oh, and let's not forget the thrill of going up and down two flights of stairs every time I needed the bathroom in the middle of the night. What a delight!
